Subdued minx

John Lennon was one of my inspirations, and he described how i feel today far better than i ever could, although obviously he didn’t have the Evil Minx in mind when he did.

However, I’m going to borrow his words anyway. Forgive me my lack of creativity, i’m on a bit of a downer today…

There are places I remember
All my life, though some have changed
Some forever, not for better
Some have gone
And some remain

All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no-one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When i think of love as something new

Though I know I’ll never lose affection
For people and friends that went before
I know I’ll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

In my life I love you more

In sorrow and pain, a sad and subdued Minx xx

[Love and support for the Evil Minx can be expressed in the customary fashion, by posting a comment below]

So sorry you are feeling low — I am here for you…

  2. Evil Minx Says:

Thank you sweetheart, I know you are. You know how it is, one day up, one day down. I just had a down day.

But I’ll be fine. Normal service will eventually be resumed, and all that…

  3. LingLing Says:

oh no minx!!!! and here i thought you’d been feeling better!!
    BIG hugs!!

and some lingalingus from me to you, babe…

More seriously,– i’ll be writing you in the next few me if you need help!

  4. Minxy, so sorry to read you’re having a low moment. The only upside is that they do, indeed, pass. Spend a little time pampering yourself, cry if you need to, and soon you will be able to smile again.

  5. The Corporal Says:

How did I manage to miss out on the Lingalingus?
